I too welcome open debate... But, there should be rules.
Laz, I agree 100%. One of the disappointments I have had on this board (of many) is that it is impossible to have honest open debate of the pros and cons. You did a masterful job of laying those out, from a personal viewpoint, and yet those who claim they are on the con side do not use those cons. Instead they will talk about empty rice bowls in Indonesia, about Egypt being nothing but sand, about DGIV being a scam, etc, and I have neither time nor interest in a debate at that level of ignorance and incompetence.

I am long, and I have an intellectual reason for my position, so obviously I am going to espouse it. Growth sector, undervalued company, joint ventures, etc etc. That does not mean that I have ignored the cons, it means I have weighed them and decided the risk was worth it. The cons include the world economy, competition, does DGIV have sufficient capital to execute their business plan, MM games, etc etc. For some of these cons, we do not know, we will only know after the financials are out, so that is why I think this is still a high risk investment, but one that for me -- personally -- it is still worth taking the chance on.

But I have ZERO interest in debating the rice condition in Indonesia, lies about calls to JC, blatant statements about a scam with no evidence supplied, our being paid to post here, etc.

Unfortunately, many view investing in an OTC stock on an intellectual basis as a hype or being a stock manipulator. Well, they can kiss my a##.

CONCERNING MR PAUL McGINNIS...

It's for US and other potential investors to do OUR homework.

Do you buy or sell solely on the basis of what other's say on the Net?

I sure don't (well, actually I have and took a bath!!)- Learned my lesson!

Lazarus, each investor should do their own dd to ensure as best they can that they are making a wise investment.

The Paul McGinnis's of the world should scare us, regardless of what they say or whether it's unfounded, etc. We should rise above knowing what we know about our company. It's our job, if we have one at all, to present the facts on the Net as we know it to others who want to hear it. It's up to them, the investor, to sort through both sides and make his or her own decision. It's not our decision to tell them what they should buy. It's up to them.

Mr McGinnis is obviously trying to point out the discrepancies or potential problems that he sees in the company and in the information it puts out as well as some of the stuff we all say on the SI thread.
I encourage him to continue because it's healthy, EVEN IF WE DON'T AGREE OR LIKE WHAT HE SAYS OR THE EFFECT IT HAS ON OTHERS!
