I hope it is oversold. I think that GaAs IC's will probably be replaced by newer technology in the future. But, so what! Everything eventually goes out of date. I believe that IBM and now University of Texas have found other methods for producing fast chips. However, these processes are still in the laboratory and I don't know if or when these methods will turn into actual products.

I think that is one reason for the price falling.

Of course, I thought CIENA was oversold at $20 (ouch).
