Stocks was up 7 yesterday.....before earnings annoucement.....

Way oversold...didn't make sense that one penny would can take away 15 points .... No brainer at 38

Sorry if you thought the message was directed specifically at you, I just happened to be the post after you. I do both long term and short term, but it has not escaped my attention that of the 10 wealthiest people in the U.S., none, to my knowledge are short term traders. The second wealthiest has a one word answer for his ideal holding time. "Forever". If short term trading works best for you, great. I hope you continue to do well.

I'd have to say amen to this. I have been buying and selling DIGI for awhile, and watching TLAB as well. TLAB looked like a better holding, but always seemed more expensive than I was willing to pay. Yesterday, it was finally available at what I hope will prove to be a bargain price, and I jumped in. At the same time, I have to applaud Jay, as his short term trade paid off. I guess I've just had too many go against me, so I shy away from much of the short term stuff.
