Raymond,

<<The context which all three (God, Jesus (Pbuh), and Moses (Pbuh)) use the title is totally different. God answered Moses (Pbuh) with the title. Jesus (Pbuh) never answered anyone with the title. >>>

Moses never used the title and never claimed to. Do Muslims think he did?

<<In Exodus 3:14, God says, "I am what I am." Jesus (Pbuh) does not use the phrase "Ho On" and it is therefore clear he was not quoting God. >>

Read the scriptures a little closer..... And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

I have yet to see a translation that replaces "THAT" with your "what". If we are going to break words down to their original connotation we must use the proper words to begin with.

<<< Jesus (Pbuh) does not use the phrase "Ho On" and it is therefore clear he was not quoting God.>>>

Jesus did not need to quote anyone, he spoke for himself. Since he was God in the flesh he already had that authority invested within.

<<< If you ever meet a Greek Christian with a Greek Bible and ask him about the verses in question, he'll look at you and say, "there's no claim of divinity," because there isn't! >>>

Are you, as a Muslim really qualified to speak for all of the Greek Christians? Maybe for the ones that you have conversed with but I don't think all.

<<In the OT, we find other people who lived with God prior to coming to earth. So if Jesus (Pbuh) must be God because he was alive before he came to earth, then everyone else who did the same must also be God. Are you willing to concede this?>>>

I didn't know you believed in the Old Testament. However I can assure you that nobody lived with God before they were born. The scripture is clear where it says, it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement. Not so with Jesus though because he is God.

<<Ok, let's assume you're right and Jesus (Pbuh) said he was alive before Abraham (Pbuh). Is that sufficient evidence to claim divinity? >>

In revelations chapter 1, Jesus says, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. Note that he is in heaven while making this claim. John, one of his disciples was brought up into heaven in order to receive this and was so overwhelmed by the glory of Jesus that he completely lost all strenght . But let me ask you, was Mohammed ever known to speak to his servants out of heaven? Did Mohammed ever bring one of his servants into heaven? Was that servant overwhelmed by his presence?
