I'm confused. You want the 8EMA moved 7 days projected into the future. What datapoint is todays shifted EMA value coming from? -- it originates from values calculated from the left (past) moved to the right, at least thats how I've always interpreted it.

Like 89TMA+8 is a rightshift that moves the TMA calculated -8 days ago. Has this just been some kind of sophistry to my eyes? -- can't be, it's been way too good at calling moves. Just now following your 8 shift +7 tidbit.

A shift back *from* the right Ref(*,+N) seems pure voodoo unless its a wave pattern projection/continuation. Please clarify this. I may have misunderstood you.
