Doug - why the personalization of Ken Starr as evil? He works for, and at the behest of the Attorney General. His office consists of a number of highly experienced attorneys and his every move is within the purview of the judges overseeing the case. I think you've been successfully mislead, like so many others, by the White House "kill the messenger" spin. For all I know, he may be the Devil Incarnate, but if that is the case, there are a fairly large number of respected jurists (including some Democratic appointments) that have turned an impossibly blind eye to what is going on. And one of Mr. Clinton's staunchest defenders, Janet Reno, as well as her staff, are responsible for selecting him. Don't you think the White House private investigator would have found something by now? Since they haven't, all they can do is direct the media attention toward attacking him. Shoot the messenger.
