Think again, MSFT might trample whats left of TDFX. MSFT is
entering the graphics arena, the 900 Lbs gorilla is going to trample
all the chimps that are left and eat all the little monkeys.
All theat will be left are the two big Gorillas Intel, Msft and
a few niche chimps ATI, Micron/Rendition, SIS, NSM/Cyrix??

Microsoft Corp.'s oft-delayed Talisman graphics hardware
initiative will finally be introduced next year in the form of a
graphics chip manufactured by Fujitsu Microelectronics Inc.
FMI's Marquis 2000 2D/3D/video graphics chip will mark
the company's debut in the crowded PC graphics market
and will offer buyers a first look at Talisman, whose impact
has waned since it was introduced at the SIGGRAPH
graphics conference in 1996.

Don't forget the new game integrated graphics and controllers.

>>> I think 3dfx is one of the few companies that has a chance to
become tommorow's "Microsoft". The company has a superb product, a vision for the future, and a real plan to get there. <<<
