Talisman was still born. A useless concept that won't even deserve a page in graphic history. Hardware is heading towards more realism, not less. Microsoft never gets it right on a 1.0, so don't worry... it's got 5-10 years before they produce anything resembling a viable graphic card.

how to avoid another tdfx disaster.Buy only the top 20 most active, never buy stocks whose avg daily volume is less than 1 million shares. This rule is for trading though. My "hindenburgh's" have always been stocks that trade a few hundred thousand.Usually the price starts tanking daily with no news and less vol and of course the mgmt b.s. that everything is fine and the decline is unwarranted.CR LUM your above post is funny, sarcastic, sobering and very true.

Did you even bother to read your post??

Excerpt:
"While FMI will enjoy no special blessing from Microsoft, the Marquis 2000 was designed to benefit from Microsoft's forthcoming GDI 2000 graphics initiative, which will be available about the turn of the century"

How is this MS getting into the 3D (card) business??
