TB; RE:" Night Owl Club " no, I did not short LatAm; equivalent to shorting our NF.X -Financial Sector, IMHO - which I am hoping will re-trace (back to DownTrend it just busted (up) out of), find some footing and start acting like a leg the major market can stand on again. I just finished reading the LatAm and BKX.X charts for Donald over on TSO thread, FWIW. Was struck today by Republicans calling for President to pay for his own prosecution today (?) ...that filing appeals is somehow a criminal offense (?) wow. Certainly no fan of Bubba but, the effect upon my own civil rights vis-a-vis "attorney-client privilege" and "rights of appeal" as a result of Starr-ism I find disturbing. Also hate to post anything on this topic, as debates are endless, and we are (all) essentially helpless to do anything one way or the other, outside of the electoral process as it is. anyhoo, EU up smartly this morning. Howcome you ain't long CLX (^_^) Wonder how long UTIL and TRAN can bounce? ...kicking myself for not putting my cash into PEG, as I had picked that one out. It dipped nicely 09-SEP, to 34-3/4, the day after I did my analysis, but {blush} not unlike TraderBerney, I was snoozing late that day, and for some stupid reason, did not buy in at 35-1/2. Of course, it is at 37-1/2 near-target now. Would have been a great scalping trade; and > 6% yield on the shares left over in the "forget-about-it, it's not real money anyway" portfolio. well... one more little cigar, and then to bed. -Steve

There's a bit of upward-hope in the air... Mr. Greenspan, for the first time in your life, please don't distribute horror! Without joking, it could be an interest of the government NOT to provoke another crash. That's not easy when Greenspan is talking... However, maybe - i hope - he's got a hint from above. That's my hope for TODAY. Friday - esp. such a kind of Friday - means "volatility" - I hope, volatility in his original meaning: not just selling. We had a lot of bear-speculation during the last time. We will see an appropriate covering. And we could see more impatience (like BT and me) if it will not look like the start of a new crash. How probable is that? 25% I guess. So I'm just invested. Happy trading! Jury
