To all - time to escape from electrical engineering stuff - real time quote (or indication) (hello Ramsey Su) ERICY is 20 7/8 ask, after closing yesterday at 21 3/4.

I do think that some people out there are beginning to catch on to our thoughts on ERICY and QCOM.

Jon.

WH - If you drive an amplifier too hard, so that the output waveform is distorted, this can produce distortion products.

I would be extremely surprised if there were not an IS-95 spec on intermods (in-band and out-of-band). Therefore, if Samsung is producing more power by overdriving their phones' amps, they should be violating the spec. I cannot think of a way to explain 'more connection thru more bandwidth' comment - even if Samsung phones do supply more power out, they should still be constrained in their production of true noise (intermods).

Clark

PS For those wondering 'what the heck is an intermod', the next time you are in listening to a stereo, turn it up to max power. It should sound like s**t due to, among other things, the intermods.
