Allan Greenspan doesn't look rattled. I think the USA is strong enough to weather the storm.

My opinion is that the Japanese are not concerned as well. Apparently their banking crisis could be solved with %10 of taxpayers savings. This is a huge debt, but not untenable. Japan is making record trade surpluses!

1930 will be avoided this time Bill. That's what the markets telling us. That's what the reaction of the G7 is as well. I think the mood is let them swing for a while before coming to their aid and attach a lot of stings to the money.

It would be interesting if the Red Chinese got into trouble. I guess this won't happen.
