Someone understands..."Rep. James A. Traficant Jr., Ohio Democrat, joined top Democratic leaders attacking Mr. Clinton's double talk.
"Joe Q. Citizen can't apologize. Joe Q. Citizen isn't censured. Joe Q. Citizen is prosecuted. An America with two legal standards is an America with no legal standards," he said.

............................................

One senior Democrat consultant, who did not attend that meeting, said some Democrats have quietly reminded the White House that if Mr. Clinton resigns, he will leave with all the benefits of a former president, but that if he faces impeachment and goes down "he will be on his own." He said those views were to be aired at the meeting.

Sounds more like an ultimatum. What do they call it...an offer he can't refuse.

Do you really believe this "remaining report" (which apparently is dreaded by the Democrats ha) is going to undo the damage caused by this first report? It doesnt matter what he comes Starr with now, hes damaged his credibility. End of story.
