GVTucker,>>>Kurlak raised his 3Q estimate to 0.80 last Friday. It was at 0.69.<<<

So, based on guidance from Intel, he (very qietly - in stealth fashion - whisper, whisper, shhh, shhh - don't tell Maria) raised his estimates by 15%. So how does that make him an expert?

Sounds like an old joke to me. Lend me your watch and I will tell you what time it is.

Regards,

Mary

BTW - He is a penny above the median and two cents above the mean. If, Intel meets consensus estimates - he will be screaming Intel came in below expectation - or some such nonsense.

GVTucker, Kurlak was really on the ball then wasn't he? Like a typical fat cat New York analyst who doesn't want to do too much work, he was behind the curve on the upside surprise on Intel.

Look at the responsible analysts who raised their estimates before last Thursdays great news. Ashok Kumar (Piper Jaffry - however you spell it)raised his estimates to 80 cents well before last Thurs.
Edelstone from Morgan Stanley was calling for 79 cents well before last Thurs. Prudential raised their rating on Intel just before last Thursdays announcement.

Kurlak better get clued in soon, or maybe he's just not that smart, or maybe he's just lazy. Any bozo can interpolate 80 cents after Intel gives additional guidance. It's the analysts that are actually worth something that do it before.

Regards,

Doug

GVTucker - re: "Kurlak raised his 3Q estimate to 0.80 last Friday. It was at 0.69."

So the infallible Kurlak was correct 3 weeks ago when he predicted Intel would post $0.69 EPS and he is STILL CORRECT after he changed his "opinion" to $0.80.

Why, GVTucker, did Kurlak RAISE his estimate AFTER Intel's UPSIDE Pre-announcement THE DAY BEFORE?

Didn't he claim to have ANALYZED the business situation just 3 weeks ago - and now he is "stating" his analysis was about as accurate as a warm cup of spit.

Could it have been that KURLAK WAS ABSOLUTELY, 100% WRONG ?

YES !!!!
