The most recent market rally was due to expected easing by the fed. If AG doesn't at least hint at loosening, I think the market will sell off big time.

Now if AG hints at a possible tightening of fiscal policy, watch out below. I don't expect this scenario to play out, although I do believe a very good case can be made for raising rates.

I should state that for most of this last year, I really thought AG should have lowered rates. Over the last 2 months, I have begun to change my position in this matter. Right now, I believe that AG should not mess with rates.

We will know later today.

Michael

AG doesn't agree to lower interest rates. Bill is going to play hardball with Congress. Neither of these bullish for the market, IMHO. For those of you so inclined, wish for a rally in the next 1 - 1 1/2 weeks, so you can SET YOUR SHORTS! THIS MARKET IS SICK......HOW DO I KNOW?....I CAN FEEL IT...I actually went to cash last Thursday and transferred my funds to the money market at my bank. My equivalent of battening down the hatches. I just can't imagine I could be wrong.....
