Personally I use very simple stuff and cannot envision the hours/years that it would take to become proficient. Perhaps it's true, you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Anyway, a few people I read have an acquaintance with the Theory and intersperse it in the commentary. That's as much as I need. I vaguely understand dozens of methods....Jack of all trades....well enuf to confuse the daylights out of myself on occasion without throwing in Wave Theory.
