Cycle times: Yes, they have. Guess what, it's been six months and no new retail product. It doesn't appear that we will see a new one at all this year. (That'll make it at least 10 months.) The last OEM product was a year ago. If they are reducing cycle times, we aren't getting our money's worth. I think they said a new product every 6 months not a new retail product every 6 months. We'll get Banshee now, and 6 months after we should see a new (retail?) product (Rampage or a 2TMU Banshee? Who knows.) They want to have two lines, OEM and retail. Probably both will be on 1 year schedules, staggered to give us something new every 6 months. If so, then so far so good. Simon

Patrick: how do you know this? TNT was produced in about six months with half the R&D of 3dfx. Say what you will about their marketing/management, the technical team certainly can execute. Where did you learn when they began developing TNT? Simon
