Hi T, Valuation is part of good stock selection. AIM's a purely mathematical risk governor. I've found that now that I know AIM's "personality", I'm much better at picking stocks for its use. A stock with solid fundamental values that's followed by the quarterly report addicts is just right for AIM. "Disappoint" translates into AIM Buys. "Exceeded expectations" translates into AIM Sells. The portfolio builds out of the realized capital gains of each cycle.

Hope this discussion isn't offending anyone else here! We AIMers have a topic here on SI at:

Subject 12596

It's a good bunch of folks, sort of the SI Optimists Club!! (even if I do say so myself!)

Best regards, Tom
