Couldn't agree more with this :" Perhaps Jobs should follow up on his visit to France today with a world tour to countries coinciding with the iMac's schedule of international launches". Absolutely. Microsoft noticed that one of the best uses of Billy boy is as a salesman. IMHO Jobs is much better as a public speaker than Gates, so find a good, permanent CEO (easier said than done since Steve Ballmer is taken) name him president (just like they did to Ballmer at M$) and tour Jobs around... Every so often bring Jobs back to Headquarters and ask him for strategic direction.
