You know, I can help you. In fact, here's what I will do. I will sacrifice myself for you and accept your entire portfolio as a gift. Just endorse over the stock certificates to me, wrap them up, and mail them to me. You won't ever have to even think of selling any of them for a loss, you won't have to worry any more about how they are doing, you will get a wonderful warm fuzzy feeling for giving (which is much better than receiving). I will suffer all the agonies for you of watching them continue to decline in value. I will do all this for you, my fellow human being, because I am such a nice, warm, wonderful person. And I will throw in that dinner, free, without even waiting for the Big One. God, am I ever a super human being!
