With all due respect, I think the rules for dress code are very antiquated, and also harmful in certain ways.

<<The dress code simply encourages women to wear clothing that does not display their sexually attractive features. There is a similar requirement for men.>>

First of all, this implies sexuality is something negative and something to be hidden(this is not a problem solely with the Moslem religion, but most a remark about the morality of most organized religions). It is exactly that type of unecessary and old fashioned morality that creates all of the problems with sexuality.

In western society, we seem to have come up with a morality code that says it is wrong to dispaly sexuality, but physical, aggessive behavior, even violence , is to be tolerated as a way of life. Ask yourself why we can see murder, rape, and other horrific acts of violence on tv hundreds of times a night, but if two women kiss it makes CNN headline news. think about that, murder is okay, but any non mainstream expression of love isnt. IMO, that is extremely warped.

Also the concept that someone cant express their sexuality through their clothing because it is provoking someone is backwards. If it bothers you, dont look. If a mans sexxuality is so "trigger happy" that looking at a women in a halter top is provoking them, I would suggest they spend more time with their wife, or other loved one
