Serge;
I am upbeat.
It has taken far to long for NNC to rebound from the selling after the
UB problem. That was a year ago but the stock has been tarnished and needs to regain the analysts and the fund managers respect. This is under way but as Newbridge at this current time is no longer a tier one company in the street's view and needs to regain their confidence. This will occur (IMHO) over the next Q. We should see the share price reflect this recovery as well. During the dips I have been adding to my stock in NNC. I did the same thing when Nortel took a $900 million write down years ago. It turned out to be 5 bagger 500% return on my investment over a number of years.
Fundamental question you must ask yourself is not what you paid for the shares or how far the stock has fallen but is it a good buy at these prices and how long will it take to make a above average return on your investment.
Terry's comment about the scorched earth theory if I recall correctly was several years ago and time may have changed his opinion on it.
With regards to a clarification of the company's position on takeovers
I would be very surprised to see any concrete statement coming from them. What could they say? We are willing to talk to other companies about a takeover ... perhaps not. If they are willing to talk I am sure that it will be done very quietly not through any statement by the company.

Regards
Glenn
