I think Kurlac is right on. INTC first pre-announces good sales & margins (why would a company do that???whay not just announce the earnings when they are due??

AH HA...a few days later they announce deep price cuts..after all of the analyst have already upgraged.. If the market tanks, and the consumers loose their "wealth effect", business and family will not be buying and INTC will decline very steeply. That's why I picked it (and MSFT) as an option hedge against my long positions.

A wise choice, I think...... I'll make more money on my long stocks if INTC leads the pack higher but will have hedged the risk.
