Ok here is the 1929 vs. 1998 chart similarity update! Check out the magic charts and observe that we are very shortly due for the final leg down being that we have had our final sucker rally (to be completed very shortly?)

Plus note the stunning similarity in the support line, same in both periods...

I think you're right. Especially as Japan and HK both fell today. Yesterday everyone for some reason thought AG would say something positive on interest rates. Then he didn't so the market fell a bit, then it seemed like so what and it went up again. My TA shows that a big fall is possible. I doubt any sustained rise is likely. However, we could stay in this kind of a trading range 7400-8200 or so.
