Feels like a flower child amusement park.

Yes .. it has been very very strange. For a long time now.

JT, Re: Errors, failures, mistakes and misunderstandings.

We are fortunate to have Steve on this thread. For the past week, he has been stating that it looked like a trading range to him with a top of 8100. He was right on!

IMHO This is not the beginning, the end, or even the end of the beginning. This is just part of the action the is setting up the real problem that is going to occur later.

I always get frustrated by something like SAP, as I (almost) always try to go out and check the news to ensure that the sell-off is simply "normal" market reaction. Again, I'm always suspect of analyst "statements" during the company's quiet period. There are few Big Boyz stocks that are not 30% over-valued -- so what!

The story of G is another issue. G has a conference call with analysts "encouraging" them to reduce their expectation. The analysts lower their expectations. Then, when the company is contacted, they say that they don't comment on analyst earnings estimates. What BS!!!

I was equally surprised by the recovery yesterday afternoon. It definitely made me question my decision to sell. However, Donald (mentioned by Steve a couple of times) strongly felt that we were at a sell point, which reassured me last night that I had made the right decision.

I don't believe that any of this has anything to do with "hope", Clinton, Asia, Russia, etc. They are just this moments backdrop. we are just in a trading range. I think this is all setting up a very interesting day tomorrow. As always, you'll do fine.

This is an excellent message on the issue:
