Dave,
The Avail computer seems to be for an experienced user with internet access who is looking for an open architecture machine.

I've never touched a DELL or Gateway until I bought it from their Website. I decided on DELL because of word-of-mouth and careful, long researching and comparing, not by touching a PC.

HP make great PC's. You're friend should be happy with his purchase.

David,
I'm not familiar with the brochures your talking about? Would you tell me what is in this brochure? I been to Wal-Mart in my area and never saw any brochures on AMGV computers.
Within Wal-Mart organization AMGV computers are currently only sold through Wal-Mart Online web site not in any of their stores or Sam's Club. Wal-Mart Online, Sam's Club and Wal-Mart stores are separate divisions within Wal-Mart itself. Wal-Mart Online has only been in existence for just over 2 years.
Have a good one.
John
