dk: One final variable in this whole equation, has to be the class action suit in florida..they are seeking 500 BBBBillion..why does the street seem to ignore the consequences of a loss and a huge pay out...this certainly is on the order of the national settlement which served to drive the stock down to 35!!! What does the street seem to think will happen here or is the street just plain ignoring this looming huge lawsuit.

Don, great insight: " The States will not get .5 of what they think they are getting." In the realm of politics and big government, contracts or legal obligations are made to be broken or re-written especially when a friendly Republican Administration comes to power.
In retrospect, I almost lost my mind during the Senate Hearings on the McCain bill. I kept on buying all the way down and I was so deep in the red on paper, like I was on PFE in 93. But deep down I knew MO would ultimately prevail and we would get a nice summer rally:

This rally has legs to it. MO is rising on very heavy volume.

Congress adjourns October 7 for the midterm elections. A massive buy back by MO and another 10% dividend increase is expected in October. MO's management team is a powerhouse.
