Yes Clay, it has beena totally weird day--lots of cross-currents between the overseas markets, options expiration, Clinton, etc.

My sense is that we will see the real down side on Monday/Tuesday--may be the latter part of tomorrow--and if it does not happen by then we will probably see the market turn up again.

I posted before how the current market dynamics have caused my system to produce some bad signals which have proved costly. Today something happened in the spoos that has never happened before -- a gap open that was well below the level that I would go short. The impact of overseas action, etc. I get this in the currencies often--but never in the S&P futures -- until today.
