At the risk of appearing the fool, I am going to pose the following question.

The Dow Util chart, one which I hardly ever look at, is within 3 points of its high. It set a high in early July and started down a full week prior to the DOW. It corrected 8% whereas the DOW took off 20+%. It has been on a tear the last few days. WHY? Is it a flight to quality? Or is it a leading indicator? I know almost nothing about the UTILS so am unaware if there is a reasonable explanation.

There you have it. Have at it.
