by entering the OEM market.
If 3DFX wants to successfully enter the OEM market it needs more than a good product. It needs to be able to adjust production rates to match the demand of the OEMs. It needs to be willing and able to customize drivers, diagnostics, and utilities for each OEM (To at least display the OEM logo). It also must be willing to reduce price when faced with increased volume. OEMs will use the best product, but it must satisfy all the needs.

ATY 'thinks' they are dominate, and frankly if their shares weren't sold in Toronto I would short them now.

What do you mean by "think": aren't they? How to you define dominate: The best review by Tom (until now), or the best ROE.

It seam that you only see what you want, i was waiting to see if someone would talk about the latest Tom's article, some of you probably read it but decide that it was not of interest for other on this thread, am i right?

AGP Texturing Becoming More Important

<<This brings me right to the next interesting topic. It seems as if the star of the AGP incapable 3Dfx products Voodoo2 and Voodoo Banshee is due to fall within the next 3-6 months. Finally AGP texturing is becoming really important, the first applications that use a large amount of high resolution textures will hit the shelves pretty soon.>>

By the way i don't see why you would not be able to short ATI, call you broker, i would suggest GOLDMAN, they (some of there client) have been dumping ATI for last couple days. But the are still holding a lot.

A month ago (last time i've check), they were 43387 share short out of 197000000
