Eddie,

I think that if AG had not hinted about a rate cut, we would be fighting for DOW 7000 right now. The whole market rally was based on his damn hint and right now it seems that the Fed is a long way from easing.

I am not optimistic about the near term outlook of the global market. Japan is likely to make new 52 week low. South America will follow suit. European bourse is definitely weak and it won't be long before some of the major indexes there testing new 52 week lows. The market gets a boost from option expiration tomorrow. But next week......I don't know.

The market is so fragile that the sentiment can shift in a real hurry. I believe that DELL & MSFT will be among the last to sink in this market. But if it does sink, it will be nasty and bloody. I still have not forgotten the days when DELL sank 36 points within 4 sessions, and the 18 point dip...

I am definitely bullish on the long run. But short term, your guess is as good as, if not better than, mine.

good luck,
larry!
