Hi LT,

I do like how all the long time bears both here on SI and bearish strategists (except Barton Biggs) have suddenly turned bullish... great sell signal!!

I'm not so sure about that. It makes sense to have optimism and pessimism when you can either live or die, but in 12 years we're going to achieve nanotechnology (see my profile) and after that we'll all be able to live as long as we choose to, with no artificial restraints on our potential age.

I agree with you that things today might look bleak in certain parts of the world. And in the short term, you will make more money than me because you are better at identifying these types of trends.

However, my money is on Dell and other technology stocks (mostly Dell, as they have the best distribution model; see Message 5817452 and Message 5779784 for more words on the subject).

And in 12 years, once your house can make any material thing you desire, money will not matter. So it doesn't matter to me that in the next 12 years you might get 200% a year while I only get 100% a year. I'll still be very happy, and have all the toys I want while toys are expensive; and once we achieve nanotech I look forward to lounging with you until the heat death of the universe. ;-)

So the fact that bears are converting into bulls simply means that they are starting to see the possiblities for the future, and know that all they need to do is be able to keep eating for 12 years. After that, the next limit is the edge of the universe.

Cheers,
KenB
