Scott, Par did state that Volpe and Tucker Anthony were key advisers in decisions such as NetSilicon, and Volpe thought the CS First Boston deal was excellent compared to other possibilities.

But apparently the next spin off is the Board's own decision. One caller was critical of them for doing this without advise. As Par put it, look at all the advisors for Ciena and what happened to them. If you have a good reliable Board and management, you don't need advisors for everything.

Anyone care to bet where the stock will move to tomorrow? Will it take longer in this market for people to react to the conference call? Will we have to wait for the press release (still planned) before the big stock price move? If so, maybe now's the time to get whatever your limit is. My bet - we'll open up just 1/16, and hit a plus of 1/8 before settling for up 1/16 for the day. Then steady daily climb with better up movement after the press release.

Well, that's what my crystal ball says - how about yours?

Bet you Alpert is annoyed...

Scott,

and a few others.

Notice the conspicuous absence of the wicked fly in brigade with Barbie Doll in command. But possibly she is only shopping for a new broom or pizza to watch Bill in the sweat box?
