Coug--what are you looking for that has to come together before you do short? I feel that the market has held up well so far--other than the gap open yesterday, there has been little selling pressure so far. If the market cannot head down with all of the news that has come out so far, I am inclined to think that it will head up again. Also some of the indices have been holding up well. Not sure whether the market is being held together because of options expiration. I am short per the system--though I am toying around with a short straddle on the OEX--premiums are rich and unless the market either breaks down or breaks out, I suspect that it could be a worthwhile, if high risk strategy--esp if we are in a trading range.
