I believe You. Intel needs the money more than I do(?!!)
But I had some reasons that went the other way:
1) Old stockholders wouldnt have to go out and sell any stock.
2) Intel would show the difference between themselves and AMD. -They have cash.
3) When You buy stock, You pay for earnings. But You never get any. Thats strange to me, and I think it hasnt always been so. If there is a long bearmarket-like Japan-
it would be nice with high dividends.

I read this thread almost every day, thanks a lot for all Your work.
