A long time ago we had a discussion about SAP going public. I contended (as a partial contrarian) that even though I loved the company, it was unlikely that SAP would zoom because the company was already more well known then was beleived by the thread, had already huge institutional support, and was already publicly traded in Germany. You thought it Could have gone either way at the time. I submit the opposite has now happened. Most people (On the thread) believe that there is a surprise on the downside coming in regard to earnings, the p/e is to high and to much competition is waiting in the wings. I think the professional analysis is already in the stock folks! Those that got in for the IPO Spec are out. Those that got in early that don't know the definition of long term have taken profits (and should be congratulated) are out. The momentum players are out. Those that were afraid or value players never got in. I'll go out on a limb and say that the price will be HIGHER after earnings are announced. Isn't the stock market fun?

Owned it in the beginning, still own it, will own it for quite awhile longer.
