PREM decays over the life of the contract.

It's only an indicator, anyway, and unless you watch very closely in tandem with other indicators it can be hard to trade as there are often very quick movements. Essentially you have to anticipate these movements so that you are on board ahead of the motion. It takes a lot of practice.

Also, generally trading off an indicator like PREM leaves you in the market for only very brief periods of time, generally speaking.

Trades lasting only 10 or 15 minutes are very common. That's why it's best to trade the Futures using PREM, not options. There is a small group of people who trade or follow the Futures on Tom's thread, called Systems, Strategies, and Resources for Trading Futures.
