Absolutely agree. Occasionally like to kid total TA types, but all major Brokerages have Technical Analysts. For the first time last year the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam included TA as part of the learning outcomes and tested material. Clearly gaining momentum when used in tandem.

If we could just find that balance....

I use TA and fundamentals to make decisions. Usually, though TA for short term position or daytrading, and fundamentals for core portfolio holdings with lots of subjective info as well..like prospects for the industry etc. The way I look at it, the more tools I have available to use, the better.
