The patents in question are older than I am and are de facto standard in the industry and have been for ages. If there was infringement LU should have stated that long ago. In fact, some of these patents are rolled into standards where LU was present in discussions. I don't need to do the research - I was there. Now, here we are, years down the road and LU realized that the market is converging in such a way as it leaves them with old world products. They can't catch up quickly and so they look at all their other alternatives and find these old patents. That's what is pathetic. Mark, if I were you I wouldn't be defending LU. OG
