Hyde never attempted to warp our legal system by lying. But if you maintain he did violate public trust here, you must logically apply the same standard to the President. Therefore, Bill Clinton should certainly not be President, and neither should Mr. Hyde be in office.

Why would his affair have disqualified him from being the chairman?
