I think Al is right here, Napier has advanced significantly in the market so far. I think that today's availability of instant information and the bull market of the last few years is responsible for unrealistic expectations and the recent volatility in the markets. It is an ongoing, gradual battle to win market share from competitor's products and the advantages of Napier's product enables significant leverage in gaining market share. This latest NR addresses many of my concerns that I spoke of in my last post. I feel the latest NR outlines a plan that could be quite effective if implemented properly. I won't say that the NR completely satisfies all my curiousities as there is much yet to be done but it appears to be a well-planned start. Near-Term Cash Flow: TWA's 200 aircraft * 5 barrels (at US$1000 per barrel) equals a $1M sale. Sales statistics of "sustained month over month growth at greater than 20% per month since January 1998" and "The number of active accounts has increased from 20 to 79 during the same time period". Major Contracts and Increasing Exposure: TWA order agreement, with projections containing firm numbers. "Company management anticipates further agreements shortly" with "numerous national airlines, OEM's and major refurbishers... in the approval process for testing Napier's friendly line of stripping products." The latest NR mentions ICI Canada Inc., although no mention of K-G Packaging or ICI distribution outside of Canada (potentially world-wide). Current Product Distribution: covering "30 American states with major refurbishing accounts being supplied in several of those" and "stocked warehouse facilities to service this growth in Texas, California and North Carolina and is currently stocking facilities in Illinois in anticipation of increased demand for its products". Activities of Napier's R&D Team: "are in the final stages of making ready for market two complimentary products for the aircraft refurbishing industry". What might these "two complimentary products" be? Check Sergio's post from waaay back, this may indicate what they are:Message 4540052 Also, "Napier's technical team have completed several product development modifications to ensure optimum efficacy of the product for application by paint brush and roller... in the home renovation market and the removal of architectural coatings". Next week we could see quite a lot of activity from covering short positions (~300,000 shares, I don't know how recent or accurate that number is?). So will this NR finally ignite NIR's share price? I can't say at this point as so many had thought that the August 11 NR might. But this NR does seem more substantial with firmer numbers. Is it substantial enough to attract institutional buying? Maybe. I like how Gino says it here:Message 5788792 Next week's trading should prove interesting. Greg
