I put in an order for 11.25 and just watched the price erode until I was filled. I would not be surprised if the price falls into the 10s, however. A big bad day in the market could even bring CIEN into the single digits. However, CIEN in the elevens is well below what CSCO or somebody else would pay for the company. Even if CIEN never gets acquired, I think it will get its share of rumors, so chances to exit will be provided. The Ciena story is really bad right now, however, with the lowered estimates especially. So IMO the only reason anyone should have for buying now is the low price.
