Hi Barb.

<<It seems you're a shill after all.>>
No, just confused. Compared to whom, I don't know.

These list don't say much in and of themselves. In their integrity - criteria and so forth, I don't possess a lot of faith. Perhaps those that put these lists together can get "suckered" in to. Sorry to hear about Osicom Tech. What about MRVC? Atmel has been as low as 6 bucks a share. Is Atmel no longer viable? Each company must be judged upon its own merits rather than by being associated with others on any particular list. So who's got all the answers? Is MRVC another scam?
Or will it be back at 20 in 12 months with a shot in the arm from William O'Neil and the IBD?

Sincerely,
Marty

A Shill After All

Dear Barb:

I am greatly enjoying reading "Mr. Pink's Picks," and I appreciate that it is an open forum where all are invited to come and learn. Thanks for your contributions.

Pardon me if I ask a simple question, though, about the ground rules for participation on this board. Are we allowed to point out something positive about a company that is being shorted by people here? I would think that anyone who takes a position on a stock, long or short, would want to gather as much information as possible to evaluate their investment decision. And yet it seems that whenever a positive thing is said about a company where the prevailing position is short, they are immediately called a "shill," and a "sore loser long." Marty seems like an inoffensive sort to me.

I guess my question is - should I only post negative comments about companies? I haven't yet contributed to the discussion about companies here, but I want to know where I stand before doing so.

Yours truly,

The Boom Dog
