Arnold we are all in this together. I mean this. The only way out of this is to row... like hell towards the distant shore ahead of the wave behind us. The more oars in our leaky boat the better. I am personaly indebted to Henry on this thread for his insights on back office execution. Again, thread....you must, must, must go out and buy A. Gary Shilling's book "Deflation". It was printed by a small press in New Jersey. As a sometime publisher I am all too well acquainted with books that are not deemed to be commercial.... by the "establishment". Thank god for a free press, and for small publishers. You can get the book for $19.95 from Amazon com incl. postage. Well worth the price. I have read Mr. Shilling's comments for years in Forbes.
