David,

Tell us again why we should consider FTEL if they have a diluting
float as you seem to indicate?

Whoa.
Better hope that's not a tobacco road.
Already been tried.

Hey David, I read your post. I'd like to make a few comments briefly. Your question about when DGIV will begin linking countries is indeed a good one. I suspect that much of the 4Q will be devoted to this task. As far as I know, this is a laborious project. It may be safe to assume that we will see country to country interaction on the DGIV network by the beginning of 99. It is my impression that Mr. Chin personally remains concentrated on striking more contracts with new countries.

As far as a comparison between FTEL and DGIV goes... I honestly do not know enough about FTEL to make a fair comparison. There were some surprising similarities within the CEO's note to shareholders however. Especially his philosophy about the network they are attempting to build... how their main concentration is not within the U.S. etc. due to major telco monopolization stunting IP growth here in the states.

The main difference between the two start-ups and their future is probably two fold IMO:

1. The countries they end up getting a foothold in. DGIV seems to be more macro in this sense (jakarta, seoul, tokyo, sydney, cairo, etc.), but again, this is JMO.
2. The abilities of the respective CEOs is paramount. Jimmy Chin has the skills necessary to inspire not only his employees, but his clients as well. He can "talk the talk," as well as "walk the walk," so to speak. I don't know anything about Frank Peters. Ideally for FTEL, he has similar leadership qualities.

Inevitably, time will tell... good luck. BTW, the fact that you mention DGIV as not being a fully reporting SEC company most likely displays your motives IMO. Either that, or you're completely unaware that DGIV has a SB-10 filing that could safely be described as imminent.
