Hi Shane,

I've liked reading your posts here.

First time I thought to jump in and make a comment.

Just thought you and the gang here would like to know there are rumors circulating among traders that a buy out offer for LSI will be made soon. This should help you understand the surge of call options for October.

Have you heard the same?

There is also a site on the net (paid subscription), stockrumors.com which is reporting the *possible* buyout rumors as well. It's from their Friday update so you won't be able to see it without access.

No word on a price or time frame, although some are guessing very soon. What do you think?

Best,

Chris A.

Hello Shane, speaking of insider buying, it seems that someone
has started to nibble within the confines of LSI. Insider trader has
a new listing of a 15,000 share buy from an officer-director. While
this is not too significant, it is non the less, the first open
market buying in over a year. Things are looking better.

Henry

Anyone interested in industry information?

Just finished doing the industry charts, and although it's still pretty grim pickings, I find four groups which have recovered at least their 150day ma, as opposed to just one (utilities), two weeks ago.

XCI - computer tech (Symbios)
RXP - healthcare products
DRG - pharmaceutical
UTY - utilities (however, looks to be forming a double top, so careful here)

--some that have possibly broken their downtrends--

BTK - biotechnology
HMO - healthcare payor
XAU - gold (but, I don't trust formation on this index)

one good thing---

VIX - volatility index - possible double top

Hard to believe the mess these indexes are in.....here is a site - to get components just click on the description of the index.......the symbol will give you a chart.
