Lisa Re :"after all...it did with the starr report..." That surprised me. The only thing I could make of that was a move to cause as many puts to expire worthless as possible. We no longer have that motive. And, if this was the cause of the upward movement, then there are now excess inventories of stocks that need to be sold off. I would guess the best time to make such a move is when everybody is sidetracked. Of course I know nothing .. <gg> Gersh
