I think the major problem is funding for schools, the California Lottery was supposed to provide school money until the politicians got at it. If the lottery money and the school budget before the lottery were put together the schools could probably have a reasonable amount of computers. Educating the next generation is very important for all of our futures since we will pay for it later if we don't fix it now. The government should cut rates and give tax breaks to DELL, CPQ, and APPLE to supply schools with up to date equipment at cost and find money for the schools to buy the equipment. The economy will benefit now and later if this were done I think, maybe I am just over optimistic.
