OFF TOPIC: Only 1 comment Michael...

You said: "Alberta trimmed a lot of fat from our Health Care system and it is working fine by my family. Mother received two artificial hips. Father, two Heart surgeries. Here in Alberta. Not a Perfect system, full of stress, but it works and it's a system we can afford."

I am happy your family was one of the lucky ones Michael. Many were not (including mine) and I hope you paid attention to the many horror stories that have appeared in the paper over the past couple years in both Calgary and Edmonton papers.

Klein BUTCHERED the system with his slash and burn approach that was not well-planned out. Too much, too fast, and cuts in many of the wrong places with high human costs. Too many nurses and support staff laid off also, placing incredible stress on those that remained trying to cope with demands that far exceeded the capabilities of the new Alberta system.

I DEFINITELY AGREE with you that expenditures for health and education, etc. have to be cut...BUT Klein's (Alberta's) way was KAOTIC and disorganized. IMO, he should NOT be an example for the rest of Canada. We need to balance the budgets and reduce the debt, but in a more thought-out and controlled fashion that IMO, involves consultants EXTERNAL to senior government administrators within the affected departments to ensure cuts are implemented in the RIGHT places.
