Second, while all financial markets in the world trade stocks,
they are not the same. Buy-and-hold would not have worked in
the Nikkei the last 20 years. It may have worked better elsewhere.
(I am not a buy-and-hold advocate)

Using the Nikkei to characterize ALL the world's financial
markets is like drawing conclusions on the reliability of
all cars by examining a Yugo. :)
