Nobody has to attempt to smear the president. The man is a liar, a panderer, an adulterer, and most importantly a perjuror (did I spell that right?). I guess this whole thing could look like a witchhunt if you think that lying to a grand jury is ok, or at least ok if you are the president. The man would be serving multiple life sentences in the private sector just for his perjury crimes (I believe it's up to 5 years per instance, and he has over 100 I think). Most people have to get back to reality, to realize that we cannot excuse crimes just because they are committed by a high government official. It makes us all look bad.
